Orion Technology is seeking a Data Commissioning Engineer to join our client's team working on the digitalisation of a Project. In this role, you'll play a key part in transforming current document-centric commissioning processes into a modern, data-driven approach. You'll leverage your expertise in data management and PLM tools (ideally Dassault 3DX or equivalent) to:
What you'll do:
Help convert commissioning documents into a structured database ideally using the Dassault 3DX or equivalent PLM tool.
Develop solutions to automate this process for maximum efficiency.
Troubleshoot technical challenges related to the data transformation program.
Assist commissioning engineers by identifying and initializing the data they need, acting as a liaison between them and developers.
Organize and model data in the PLM tools to support various tasks, including creating commissioning procedures and standard testing method catalogues.
Ensure data quality within the PLM tools and promote best practices.
Extract and format data to meet different technical needs.
Bridge the gap between the technical team and the PLM tool-related teams, handling customization, debugging, and project management tasks.
Become a key user within the commissioning team, providing support and guidance to colleagues on using the PLM tool effectively.
We're looking for someone with:
A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
Proven experience with PLM tools, databases, data management, and information systems.
Programming and dashboarding skills, with a strong understanding of data visualization.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced technical environment with competing demands, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
