Job description


Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Contract Analyst, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied portfolio of contracts pertaining to operating an FPSO.
* Prioritise tender schedules and manage workload to meet business requirements.
* Support and advise the business with all commercial and contractual matters, from inception to conclusion (including tendering, negotiating, awarding, and managing contracts and associated purchase orders).
* Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements through good communication and collaboration.
* Liaise with engineers to negotiate and execute all Variation Orders (VO) with contractors.
* Analyse commodity spend information, conducting market analysis, and developing sourcing strategies.
* Maintain effective compliance with our Document Management System (BMS) in accordance with Company procedures and systems.
* Highlight any major commercial or contractual risks or issues to the relevant stakeholders
* Lead the tendering and evaluation process.
* Plan, conduct and conclude contract negotiations.
* Proactively manage and resolve claims ensuring a positive outcome.
* Assist Supply Chain Manager in identifying and implementing business improvements.
* Champion HSE and Process Safety in all procurement activities.
* Attend weekly/monthly meetings as required.
* Perform any other tasks as reasonably required.
