36 hours per week (flexible working hours)
Hybrid Working - Dunfermline Office/Home based rotation

Orion Group are delighted to partner our client Fife Sports and Leisure Trust in the recruitment of a Communications & Public Relation Lead. The trust operates on behalf of Fife Council and enjoys contributing to "Health and Fitness for All" in the Fife Area.

They are seeking a well organized and efficient Communications & Public Relations Lead to join their busy Marketing, Communication and Sales Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious candidate to provide expert advice and deliver an efficient and creative internal and external communications function to inspire the growth and appeal of the organisation.

Education
* HNC in a relevant field, equivalent professional qualification or experience in a similar/related communications or marketing role.

Person Specification
* Significant experience in communications, media relations, promotion or marketing
* Demonstrable experience in developing a comprehensive and proactive media and communications strategy and advertising campaigns.
* A positive and flexible attitude, able to prioritise and meet deadlines and reacts well under pressure.
* Ability to develop and build strong relationships with internal and external partners including Sports Scotland, Scottish Government, Funders and other Charities.
* Experience in multi-media communication publications coupled with strong and innovative writing and design skills.
* Understanding of confidentiality and General Data Protection Regulations.


Duties
* Inform and advise on communications strategy and policy evaluation to the executive Management Team and others across the business and partner agencies.
* Co-ordinate and deliver effective presentations, press and social media communications through creative design and brand consistency that meet legislative requirements and are within budget constraints.
* Support the organisation with forward planning PR strategies, performance reviews, delivery and content reviews/updates.
* Liaise with teams across the business for feedback on promotional literature and identify new ideas that enhance the communications for the organisation.
