Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Chief Engineer of LNG and Midstream Technologies on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Hampshire.

You will be responsible for technical and economic feasibility studies undertaken related to midstream plant and gas transportation and, where required, third parties.

Responsible for overall coordination of these studies and for technical direction of the work undertaken as well as managing these activities consistent with agreed schedule and budget requirements.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:

  • degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering
  • Certified by a professional institute, chartered engineering with the Institute of Chemical Engineers is preferred.
  • Highly experienced in LNG design and conversant with the main LNG processes, in particular mixed refrigeration technologies such as APCI DMR. Significant experience of operation within a LNG facility would be a major advantage for this position.
  • Experience of working on or monitoring of FEED and EPC projects for LNG and FLNG facilities
