Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Shipping / Offtake Co-Ordinator, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Issuance of vessel nominations to vessel owner (for cargoes), or liaise with the Other Lifting Group, to assure that vessels are nominated timely for lifting the nominated cargo at the relevant FPSO.
* Vessel clearance by receivers
o Liaise with shipping operating company (incl. follow-up on vetting results and audit reports).
o Liaise with vessel owner in case of vessel non-conformities.
o Liaise with crude oil trader for vessel acceptance with the buyer of the cargo.
* Prepare and issue Cargo Documents to relevant parties (Sailing Advice, BoL, CQQO) as per voyage instructions obtained from crude oil trader and Other Lifting Group resp.
* Appoint port agent in port of discharge to allow for a smooth port call of the vessel.
* If applicable determine and calculate demurrage and provide back-up for demurrage claim to be submitted by client operator crude oil trader/Finance.
* Provide FPSO JV Managers and Operations Manager with relevant advice in case of Other Lifting Group' requests that are beyond terms of the Lifting Agreement(s).
* Liaise with the UK-PMR team on a frequent basis to ensure timely submission of (field) allocation data.
* Process (weekly) production forecast updates from the UK-PMR team
* Process VAM and production adjustments as advised by the UK-PMR team or JV Manager
* Fulfil all reporting requirements as laid down in the FPSO lifting agreements including:
o Prepare daily/weekly lifting schedules (downloading actual production from ODR resp. Energy Builder and implement weekly production forecast updates).
o Prepare and issue monthly field reports for M-1, M+1 and M+2.
* Prepare the monthly FPSO Crude Oil Shipping and Sales Activity Report.
* Check invoices received from the charterer/vessel owner.
o Monitor and keep track of the vessel time used and fuel consumption to enable checking.
* Check invoices received from port agent, vetting services provider
* Calculate cargo splits between operator client and partners sales invoicing.
* Assure that the dedicated software used for the cargo scheduling is maintained and up to date. This includes various amendments if changes occur (e.g., new field to be added in due time, change of lifting group). These system changes all need to be thoroughly tested before moving to Live environment.
* Obtain outturn reports from operator crude oil trader and Other Lifting Group for analysis unconformities (losses) and forward to PMR team for reporting requirements to the authorities.
* Keep track of vessel clearing issues, vessel audit expirations etc.
* Provide input and participate in 2020 tender exercise for FPSO vessel requirements.
* Steward bi-weekly shipping meetings.
* Steward COT/ASD meetings in relation to shipping.
* Monitor delta stock positions between company software and OBQ (reported and actual stock positions) initiate action when delta becomes large.
* Monitor water/slops on board FPSO's affecting tank capacity, hence cargo offload timing and liaise with port agent (e.g .obtain quote) for disposal
