Job description

Detail-oriented individual with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to be a part of growing Finance team, on an early-stage LNG company developing a liquefaction project. This individual will report to the Financial Controller. The ideal candidate is interested in and enthusiastic about building the basics of Treasury and Accounting from the ground up and will appreciate a broader opportunity than slotting into a well-defined role in a larger organization.

Specific responsibilities include:
* Maintain/administer all bank accounts and related records
* Develop and maintain daily cash positions for all company accounts, including detail on all cash activity
* Reconcile bank statements to cash positions monthly
* Manage all payment activity including:
o Receiving invoices and gathering related internal approvals
o Setting up wires and ACH transactions
o Inputting payments into current accounting system
* Manage corporate travel/purchase card programs, including daily monitoring of available credit
Project work in support of the Controller will include:
* Treasury projects:
o Assess alternative banking solutions and optimize operational banking capabilities
* Accounting projects:
o Under the supervision of the Controller, explore and implement (1) interim accounting solution and (2) eventually, a long-term/permanent accounting system
o Develop framework for AP system and related processes
