Orion Group Sponsors Seventh Security Cleared Expo

Orion Group, the UK’s leading independent manpower provider in the oil and gas sector, has lent its support to the seventh Security Cleared Expo as main event sponsor. The event took place today, 13 November 2013, at the QEII Conference Centre in London.

Hosted by Security Cleared, the UK’s largest job board catering for positions that require varying levels of security clearance, the event gave clients the opportunity proactively source potential candidates by meeting with them face to face. Orion Group had a stand at the Expo manned by senior recruiters and staff from various arms of the business who will be looking for candidates to fill a number of positions within client companies.

Tony Samuel, Director at Security Cleared, said: “We are pleased to welcome Orion Group on board as main sponsor of our latest Security Cleared Expo. Since we launched the event in 2010 it has gone from strength to strength and that is in no small part due to the sponsorship support we’ve managed to secure over the last three years.

“The feedback we get from clients that attend the twice yearly event is always excellent and with Orion Group on board we’re sure our clients will be well placed to source personnel who will be of real benefit to their businesses.  Our primary focus is to ensure the right people are matched with the right jobs and events like this are crucial to achieving that goal.”

Adrian Davidson, Group Recruitment Manager at Orion Group, commented: “Orion Group understands how important an event such as the Security Cleared Expo is for the industry so we are happy to be involved in this capacity.

“Orion has recently been able to secure a number of long term contracts within the nuclear industry which of course requires security cleared personnel so we’ll be on the lookout for experienced individuals. This event will be key for Orion Group, allowing us to speak to potential candidates for current and future projects as we continue to expand.”
