Job description

Work location is company office in Greenway Plaza or at the EPC office in the Energy Corridor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Mechanical Engineer (Static equipment) Discipline Lead the coordination and review of our contractors & subcontractors mechanical engineering tasks, identifying design issues, and monitoring progress of all process deliverables and activities.
Review engineering contractor's deliverable with a keen eye towards value engineering,
Review design of mechanical systems for capital projects
Provide technical leadership in overseeing contractors static equipment, specifications, and details.
Understand and apply standards and codes from industry-specific professional organizations such as ASME SEC VIII div 1&2 and piping (B31.3).
Have sound knowledge in the selection of materials and Corrosion Control Measures for Columns and Reactors
Coordinate design review activities to ensure installation and operations will comply with specifications, codes, and client requirements
Lead and participate in discipline specific design reviews and coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 10-15 years of refinery/substation/industrial process/power generation facility design engineering experience with a track record of achievement on large complex projects
Strong technical background in static equipment, materials, and piping designs for large industrial facilities.
Large Modular project design and construction experience.
Experience in FEED & Detailed Design types of projects
Experience with equipment layout and 3D modeling
Experience as a lead design engineer on multiple industrial facilities.
