Job description

We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our Client's operations based in Invergordon on an ongoing contract basis.

The successful candidate will assist with the efficient daily operation of warehousing. Take responsibility over general duties in a safe and efficient manner and helping with other site specific duties including painting, gritting, site cleaning etc.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out stowing and de-stowing in palletised and racked warehouse

  • Driving forklifts

  • Loading and unloading Trailer Locked Vehicles (TLVs)

  • Keeping paperwork in order and checking paperwork

  • Stocktaking

  • Bar coding

  • Opening and closing warehouse doors

  • Filing in dangerous good documents for tankers and TLV's

  • Housekeeping around the site and in warehouses

Skills and experience:

  • Driving licence (essential)

  • Forklift truck experience (desirable)

  • Previous warehouse experience (desirable)

  • Knowledge of mechanical handling equipment (desirable)

  • Reporting and problem-solving skills

  • Organisational and prioritising skills

  • Strong communication skills

Hours of work:

Monday - Thursday 8am-4:30pm

Friday 8am-2pm
