Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Project Controls Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:

Operations Project Support
* Support annual work plan & budget process
* Input to monthly, quarterly and annual Finance month end processes (Value of Work Done, Forecast, SoX controls, SAP Postings & Analytics)
* Review EPC Contractor Cost Reporting Dashboard including Earned Value & Productivity Assessments
* Review MOC requests from a cost and schedule perspective
* Implement and perform controls that enable Contract administration / compliance / invoice review processes
* Management of Project Portfolio Application (PPM) & Dashboard
* Report and Monitor Performance of Project Portfolio versus Decision Gate Approvals
* Interact and collaborate with EPC contractor Project Controls personnel
* Input to JV Reporting for Operations Projects AFE's and Carbon Reduction Projects
* Able to initiate & support portfolio scheduling through utilisation of planning tools

Technical Integrity Support
* Annual work plan & budget process for UKI OTE
* OTE Month End VoWD & Monthly Forecasting inputs
* Support F&C for JV partner & contract audits
* Master Data Control within OTE (WBS', SWO's & Task Structure)
* Power BI Dashboard reports for monthly reviews with senior management (OTE & O&M)
* Approvals & Processing of OTE Contractor Invoices
* Support Contract Owner on Contract Rate Revisions, KPI metric creation and review & Overall Contract Cost

Mariner Project Controls Ownership for Development Investment Capex Projects (Viscous Water, ICU & SAS EOL)
* Reporting of Cost & Schedule Performance vs AFE and Work Plan & Budget
* Input to Annual Work Plan & Budget for each project
* Separate VoWD, Forecasting and Invoice compliance for each project

Experience & Qualifications:
* Proficient in excel, Word, SAP, Microsoft Project, Planning tools, Power BI.
* A motivated self starter, proactive, flexible and able to respond positively to change.
* Strong collaborative personal values and excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
