Job description

Contract Length: 12 months

Location: Romney Marsh (9.25 hours per day, 4 day week)

IR35: Inside

As a Production Technician your main responsibilities will be:

  • Carrying out core maintenance duties within his/her own level of demonstrated competence.
  • Carrying out operational tasks within scope and competence and to assist with fault investigations.
  • Providing technical support to current and future project design and implementation.
  • To support delivery within his or her range of skills, knowledge, experience and competence
  • Complying with the Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, work instructions and risk assessments.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality on Site.
  • Supporting colleague's learning and development through knowledge sharing, task instruction, etc.

You'll have:

  • Relevant experience in a technical area.
  • Experience in instrumentation or maintenance.
  • Appropriate technical qualification, e.g., City and Guilds, BTEC ONC, (NQF Level 3).
  • Ideally, an appreciation of RSA and IRR requirements.
  • Plant Operations in areas assigned as a desirable.
  • Experience of working in the Nuclear Industry as a desirable.
  • Dealing with flow measurements, level indicators, gauges, pressure transmitters.
