Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Head of Sales-USA in Cambridge, MD. Serving industrial filtration, process conveyor belting and architecture/design. on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Maryland. For further information about this position please apply.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Head of Sales position is responsible for the development and execution of the company sales strategy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage and maintain sales teams for all business units of the company.

2. Recruit and hire sales staff; ensure adequate training is provided to each sales employee to provide desired sales results.

3. Set quarterly and annual sales goals, motivating sales staff to meet desired goals.

4. Monitor the market and competitor products and activities.

5. Create sales reports and provide feedback to the Senior Management team.

6. Maintain professional and technical product knowledge utilizing workshops, publications, associations, and visits to HQ in Europe.

7. Outline and manage sales budget.

8. Establish and maintain key customer relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Experience, Training and Job Qualifications a) Business Related Degree is preferred. b) Minimum of 5 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing. c) In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods. d) Must have excellent verbal and written communications, and organization skills with the ability to work well with a wide range of personnel. e) Must have excellent computer skills including database, spreadsheet, and word processing. f) Must be able to travel as required in support of assigned responsibilities.

2) Personal Qualifications a) Willingness and ability to abide by Company work, safety, attendance, and all other rules. b) Well organized and self-motivated to handle multiple projects and a wide variety of duties with minimum supervision. c) Must be detail oriented and able to develop consistent, accurate, thorough documentation of all work in accordance with Quality Procedures. d) In all actions, demonstration of a commitment to perform quality work and meet all project schedule milestones, while building a positive relationship with coworkers, customers, and outside suppliers through professional conduct.

3) Physical Qualifications a) Ability to see with at least 20/40 corrected vision in the best eye. b) Ability to see, hear, and talk at normal conversation volume. c) Ability to lift 15 pounds to shoulder height
