JV Financial Controller - Opportunity to Shape Financial Direction of a Corporate JV

Who You Are:

A part/fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role within a Joint Venture environment.
A strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Adept in leveraging financial data to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint) and relevant financial software (experience with MBC a plus).
A commitment to continuous learning and development.
Experience in the renewable energy or EV charging industry is a plus.
What You Will Do:

Oversee the financial performance of investments and business operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data, analyze trends, and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Develop and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard Company assets.
Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports to shareholders and management.
Manage the annual budgeting and long-term planning processes, ensuring meticulous data verification and scenario analysis.
Participate in IT projects related to financial planning and reporting systems.
Oversee the purchase order workflow and effectively coordinate capital expenditure processes.
Lead and supervise the finance team, providing guidance, training, and knowledge sharing.
