Partner Plus is proud to be retained by a leading filtration and process equipment manufacturer, part of a global engineering group, in their search for a Project Manager to support the delivery of complex, high-value customer projects from approval through to shipment.

Our client designs and supplies advanced filtration, separation, and coalescing solutions to the refining, oil & gas, power, chemical, and wider process industries. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and technically capable Project Manager to play a key role in coordinating large capital orders, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Reporting to the Manager of Engineering & Quality, the successful candidate will act as the central coordination point between customers, engineering, quality, procurement, production, and suppliers, ensuring technical documentation, schedules, and deliverables are managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and deliver customer projects in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
  • Coordinate all technical documentation for large orders from customer approval through production and shipment.
  • Manage internal and external technical correspondence, ensuring all departments are aligned on responsibilities and timelines.
  • Communicate changes to scope, delivery dates, and costs clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance lead times and maintain competitiveness.
  • Work closely with Quality, Purchasing, and Production teams to resolve technical or quality-related issues.
  • Proactively manage supplier expediting to ensure subcontractor deliveries align with project schedules.
  • Organise inspections and testing activities with suppliers and customers to prevent schedule delays.
  • Track project progress, prepare technical reports, and present clear updates to customers and management.
  • Manage project cash flow, supporting milestone invoicing and ensuring contractual payment terms are met.
Technical Competence & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4–5 years’ experience in project management within an engineered products, filtration, pressure vessel, or process equipment environment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering design standards, supplier procurement, and production practices.
  • General knowledge of pressure vessels, piping systems, and filtration technologies preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to investigate data anomalies.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
