PartnerPlus is proud to be retained by a market-leading filtration manufacturer and distributor, in the search for an Area Sales Manager to drive regional sales growth and strengthen customer relationships across South West Germany.

Our client specialises in the supply of high-quality filtration solutions for mobile and industrial applications, supporting sectors such as construction equipment, industrial machinery, agriculture, rental fleets, and wider industrial markets. With a strong European footprint and global reach, the business is recognised for its technical expertise, wide product breadth, and customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities
Regional Sales & Account Management
  • Full revenue and territory responsibility for an assigned region in South West Germany
  • Acquisition of new customers alongside the development and retention of existing dealer and end-user accounts
  • Execution of regional sales plans in alignment with wider business objectives
Technical Sales & Market Support
  • Provide technical consultation and solution-based selling of filtration products (hydraulics, engines, air and fluid systems)
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding applications and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Support customers through product selection, demonstrations, and follow-up
Commercial & Market Development
  • Identify new market opportunities and growth segments
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to support pricing and sales strategy
  • Represent the business at trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer events
Internal Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with sales management, export support, and internal teams to ensure effective order handling and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting

Technical Competence & Experience
  • Technical and/or commercial qualification (engineering, mechanics, industrial technology, or similar preferred)
  • Proven experience in field sales, ideally within filtration, hydraulics, industrial equipment, or related technical products
  • Strong understanding of industrial or mobile equipment applications
  • Comfortable operating in a technically consultative sales environment
  • Fluent German (native or business-level); working knowledge of English and/or French advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ERP/CRM systems
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
