In 1987, Orion Group was established by Chairman Alan Savage, providing personnel to the rig construction yards of McDermott at Ardersier and Highland Fabricators at Nigg. During the late ’80s and ’90s, Orion built strong relationships with key clients, requiring the company to open new offices in the UK and at various international hubs.
Today Orion Group is a world leader in delivering manpower solutions to some of the world’s leading blue chip organisations. The Group manages placements of over 4,000 contractors every year via their worldwide network of offices throughout Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Africa, with continued year on year growth. The Group provide specialist recruitment services across a range of sectors including Oil and Gas, Power and Utilities, Energy, Rail, IT, Mining, Office and Commercial and Construction and Infrastructure.
In 2017 and celebrating 30 years in business Orion is still working with a number of clients and contractors from the very first days and months of being established. Good relationships have continued and were the building blocks for Orion’s success today. Trust and integrity have always played a major role in the company’s success along with exceptional service and delivering the best in people over the last 3 decades and has been part of the company’s visions and goals.
