Marine Engineering Jobs

There are several available roles in Marine Engineering from Orion and they are predominately UK and Ireland based. You’ll be responsible for designing, creating and maintaining engineering systems that are used on ships and offshore installations, such as oil rigs. You'll be expected to have specific technical knowledge in your chosen area, some examples of this include: offshore platforms, rigs, pipelines and equipment. Important personal qualities that will be expected of you are good communications skills, being a good team worker, experience and/or qualifications in your chosen area and under certain circumstances being comfortable with travel on assignments. You'll be working in many areas such as piping system P and IDs, machinery layouts, equipment and material specifications.
