Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Wells Engineering Competency Assessor based in Aberdeen. This has been released on a 12 month PAYE contract.
The Wells Engineering Capability Assessment program has been set up at the request of the company Wells SVP and has been developed to address a gap in their skills capability and competency management systems.
Wells has identified specific engineering skills essential for risk management and requires a method for independent, self-verification of proficiency in these skills.
Additionally, there is increased interest in and scrutiny of their competency / capability management for non-safety critical roles from regulators, including the UK’s Offshore Petroleum Regulator for Environment and Decommissioning (OPRED). Addressing this gap assures their ability to demonstrate a robust capability management system in the event of a regulatory audit.
