Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Well Integrity Engineer, based in Westhill Aberdeenshire.

Responsibilities will include:
Understanding and controlling major risks relating to company well stock
Interdisciplinary working to optimise safe production of company wells
Capable of delivering well integrity solutions & small projects within a team
Management of Well Integrity throughout company Well life cycle
Focal point for promoting well integrity understanding across company disciplines
Maintaining, updating and upgrading Well Integrity Management System (WIMS)

Qualifications & Experience
Educated to degree level in Mechanical or Petroleum engineering related discipline and demonstrate ability through experience and/or training in well design/operations with significant experience in oil industry.
Previous operational experience in well engineering. Reservoir/Production knowledge is beneficial.
Fluent with the different parameters, mechanisms affecting the integrity of the well (from reservoir to surface production).
Proficient with the main well equipment devices, drilling and completion techniques.
Excellent analytical, reporting, communication, leadership and negotiation skills
Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Office suite & other typical wells related software
Committed to developing skills and experience other technical disciplines e.g. well completion design, well architecture, well integrity
Fluent spoken and written English required
