Job Title: Welder (Site)
Reports to: Welder Supervisor (Site)
Location: Worldwide Onshore & Offshore
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Responsible for carrying out all Welding process as required in a workshop and production line environment, both onshore and offshore
All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.
SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Carry out Welding Process as required
• Manual TIG - GTAW
• Manual Stick - SMAW
• Manual Pulse MIG - pGMAW
• Manual Flux Core – GSFCAW
• Automatic welding systems
• Arc - Air Gouging

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
• Apprentice Trained
• Coded pipeline welder
• Experience of pipeline, spool base and offshore pipe lay would be relevant – will be expected to commence operations with minimal training
SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURAL EXPECTATION
• Develops an appropriate culture of team working
• Communicates effectively and articulately at all levels with the welding supervision
• Demonstrates good trouble shooting skills and analytical skills when making decisions
• Works effectively under pressure
• Is risk focused
• Works effectively with other departments and clients assists with development and improves processes/procedures
