Working Days/Week - 7 days/week
Working Days/Month - 28 days/month
Leave Rotation - 28 days on/28 days off
Job Purpose
Represent Company as a Site Representative on board Diving support vessel (DSV) / cable lay vessel (CLV) to ensure safe and quality – compliant execution of works by providing leadership oversight on Contractor’s subsea construction activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Job Context & Major Challenge
Main Company focal point and team leader on Contractor’s DSV /CLV
Working in a challenging offshore environment.
Assist with problem solving utilizing prior experience as CSR or Offshore Construction Manager on DSVs / CLV
Manage incident response.
Manage a multi-cultural team in an offshore environment.
Monitors Dive and ROV equipment audits in coordination with Company
Diving Lead ensuring all relevant certification and audits are up to date and
that any close-out actions from audits have been carried out.
Key responsibilities
Acts as COMPANY Site Representative onboard DSV or CLV during the execution phase in coordination with Company’s Vessel Management Team, communicating the activity status
and progress to the Onshore PMT.
Serve as day-to-day interface with EPC contractor’s Offshore Construction Manager and craft labour.
Monitor and ensure compliance with Company specification, procedures, Risk assessments
and plans.
Ensures that any events evaluated during FRA/Risk Screening and HAZID/HIRA processes, or that are raised during safety meetings, are stewarded and closed prior to the start of each critical scope.
Acts as the focal point between CPY’s Production Operation and the Contractor during field execution, particularly for SIMOPS and PTW within 500m of CPY assets
Undertake full oversight of Contractor’s marine activities in collaboration with CPY Marine
Lead and ensure all vessels comply with CPY requirements through site verification and validation
Interfaces with various project teams and departments on resolving related issues that
requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.
Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, self-confidence, fairness.
Takes initiatives, based on experienced gained, to deliver timely and cost-effective service.
Act as COMPANY area operator for marine vessel and issuing ePTW in accordance to PTW
procedure.
Qualification
High School graduate
Offshore Training certifications from the recognized industry accredited bodies.
OPITO certification H2S and T-BOSIET are a requirement.
IMCA dive supervisor certificate
Minimum 15 years offshore installation experience on DSVs with at least 5 years demonstrated experience as Offshore Construction Manager, CSR or DSV Superintendent
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a diver or dive supervisor, either air or saturation diving.
Previous work experience with LNG company and knowledge of LNG PTW systems is desirable but not mandatory.
Knowledge in installation of offshore facilities and execution methods of subsea structures by an installation vessel.
Demonstrate extensive experience on DSV in a leadership role.
Demonstrate basic training or knowledge in Lifting, Rigging and Safety standards.
Technical and business skills
Fluent English
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook e-mail system.
