Orion Group Life Sciences have an exciting opportunity for a Validation Lead for our Multinational Medical Device client based in the Munster region on an initial 12-month contract with view to extend.


Job Purpose
The Validation Lead will work alongside the development and QA teams onsite with our Multinational Medical Device client in Limerick.

This position is currently a remote role due to COVID-19 restrictions.


Main Responsibilities

  • Involved in the execution and documentation completion associated with validation
    Compliance plan and Compliance report.
  • Works with QA team to develop the project's validation strategy.
  • Manage the assessment, approval and the implementation of changes associated with the validated systems, to ensure validation status is maintained.
  • Leads the Validation team consisting of Validation Analysts.
  • Provide documentation guidance.

Desired Background and experience

  • A senior resource with strong knowledge of GxP principles
  • Prior validation experience
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, particularly Agile
  • Familiar with tools such as Jira, HP-ALM.
  • Agnostic to any platform or project but specific experience working on Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) an advantage
