We are looking for an experienced Transportation & Installation Lead – Pre-Commissioning & De-Commissioning to lead and supervise pipeline pre-commissioning and de-commissioning activities for greenfield and brownfield projects. The role will involve coordinating onshore and offshore activities and ensuring safe and efficient execution in line with project requirements.

Work Pattern: 70% Onshore / 30% Offshore

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage pipeline pre-commissioning and de-commissioning activities from planning through offshore execution and closeout.
Supervise activities including flooding, cleaning, gauging, hydrotesting, dewatering, drying and nitrogen purging.
Lead offshore de-commissioning activities, including pipeline isolation, depressurization, subsea pipeline cutting, recovery, abandonment and spool removal.
Review and approve contractor pre-commissioning and de-commissioning philosophies, strategies and method statements.
Review engineering calculations related to hydrotesting, pigging, dewatering, drying, nitrogen requirements and temporary equipment.
Coordinate with contractors, offshore operations, VMT, diving, ROV, marine and HSE teams.
Manage punch lists, technical queries, site queries and non-conformances.
Provide technical support and guidance during offshore execution, including troubleshooting and recovery planning.
Ensure activities comply with HSE, environmental, SIMOPS and marine requirements.
Coordinate vessel mobilisation and offshore execution activities.
 
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Subsea Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of offshore installation experience on vessels in Transportation & Installation activities, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Field Engineer or Site Supervisor onboard installation vessels, with experience in de-commissioning of subsea facilities.
Extensive knowledge of subsea pipeline pre-commissioning and de-commissioning, pipeline pigging, subsea isolation plugs and de-commissioning tools.
Experience supervising pre-commissioning vessels.
Knowledge of international standards such as DNV-ST-F101, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, API and ISO pipeline/offshore standards.
Experience in submarine pipeline de-commissioning, including technical plugs for safe isolation and abandonment.
Fluent in English.
Good MS Office skills.
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
