Job Title - Batch 1 Topsides QA/QC Superintendent

Accountabilities

The job holder is accountable for the following activities during Batch 1 Topsides Contract execution:

* To implement the Major Project Quality Management System at Project level,

* To ensure the performance of the Contractor, Subcontractors and Vendors is achieving the Project Quality requirements,

* To coordinate all Quality Control activities,

* To implement the Client Technical Referential and applicable local and international codes.

* To insure that Quality requirements are well established and implemented by the Contractor during detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, transportation and offshore installation works.

* To assist other technical disciplines in the implementation of Quality Requirements.

The Batch 1 Topsides QA/QC Coordinator has an Hierarchical Link to the Topsides Package CSR and to the Head Projects QA/QC. They will have a Functional Link to the Welding Engineer and others Technical Specialists for all technical matters involving quality control activities.

Job Dimensions

Field development will involve several new projects that would be executed in parallel over the period of 5 years with CAPEX investment of around 3.5 Billion USD. The Phase 2 Project consists of:

 Batch 1 EPCI1: Three 24 slots WHP Jackets (FC, DC, EG), bridge linked to existing facilities and with permanent drilling decks. Budget is around 100 MUSD. Water depth are 60 to 70m, Jacket weight is approx. 2000MT.

 Batch1 EPCIC2: Three production topsides and bridges for WHP (FC, DC, EG) to process and send production to existing facilities. Topside weight is approx. 3000 MT, Bridge 100m/800MT.

 Batch2 EPCIC3/4: Two WHP (EH, CE) jacket + topsides to process and send production to existing facilities. Batch2 WHP will be bridge linked. EPCIC3 will be for topsides facilities, EPCIC4 for all T&I works.

 Batch3 EPCIC5/6: Two WHP (GE, GW) jacket + topsides to process and send production to existing facilities. Batch2 WHP will be either bridge linked or remote. EPCIC5 will be for EPCC of facilities, EPCIC6 for all T&I and subsea works where applicable.

Phase 2 Project is mainly a Greenfield Project with installation of 7 new WHP but there will be a major Brownfield challenge for integration of these new WHP into existing facilities in term of interfaces with other Client entities and SIMOPS works.

The Topsides QA/QC Coordinator is responsible for Quality Compliance.

They will be based in to EPCIC2 Contractor's premises during EPC phase with travels to Major Project's premises as required,

Activities

* To review and approved the Quality Documentation issued by the Contractor, Subcontractors and Vendors.

* To implement the QC activities based on the criticality assessment.

* Coordinate the Surveillance activities through the supply chain.

* Coordinate the QC activities during construction at Contractor yard and during Offshore Hook-up,

* Participate in the establishment and implementation of a suitable Audit Program to cover Contractor, Subcontractors and Vendors main critical processes.

* Implement continual improvement processes, (Reporting, KPI, Lessons Learned, Close Out Report).

* Issue or review Contractor Non Conformance reports and validate dispositions. Intervene as necessary where warranted.

* Review and approved the material certificates.

* Review and approved the different inspection reports issued by the Contractor.

* Witness inspection activities based on the Quality Control Plan (ITP).

* Be the focal point for the Major Projects Welding Engineer.

* Ensure that verification activities by the Certifying Authority are in line with Contract requirement.

* Ensure that CTR's personnel are qualified for the task they've been assigned to

* Ensure that material traceability system is maintained throughout the fabrication process

* Manage all Company quality inspections related to welding and NDT activity.

* Participate in the weekly meeting and in the issuance of weekly report and KPIs.

* In coordination with Head Projects QA/QC, participate in Contractor investigations of significant Quality failures. Ensure proper root cause analysis of Contractor Quality failures is undertaken, and conclusions are reached and corrective actions undertaken.

Environment

* Major Projects involve the development of new offshore platforms bridge linked to the existing facilities, installation of subsea pipelines and debottlenecking of the produced water treatment, all these activities could be executed across several international sites. Projects will require complex interfaces with other entities of Client.

* EPC execution shall take place at Contractor premises,

* Possibility of multiple worldwide missions and/or relocations to follow-up offshore installation campaign

Qualifications

* Qualification:

o Education to HND/BTS level or COMPANY approved equivalent in engineering discipline.

o Welding, NDE and Coatings qualification (PCN, COFREND, CSWIP, BGAS or equivalent).

* A good knowledge of Client General Specifications (GS) and International codes/standards related to design, fabrication and inspection.

* Comprehensive knowledge in welding, material, corrosion and NDE.

* Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.

* Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail communications.

* Familiar with PRODOM.

* H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.

* Language: English mandatory,
