Our client have a requirement for an Engineering Coordinator (Topside) to be dedicated to the engineering execution of remote wellhead platforms of their project (from RFQ for FEED to EPC)

The Engineering Coordinator will be based in the respective Contractor premises during the duration of project execution, with the potential to move back to Qatar in final project stages to support brownfield / hook-up field engineering execution CTR premises during studies development. The Job holder belongs to the engineering team and reports to the Engineering Manager Major Projects and to the Package Manager.

  • Major Projects involve the development of new offshore platforms bridge linked to the existing facilities, installation of subsea pipelines and debottlenecking of the produced water treatment, all these activities could be executed across several international sites. Projects will require complex interfaces with other entities.
  • Engineering development of new WHP will take place in Contractor offices, with a potential relocation to Doha (Qatar) during the course of hook-up and completion phases,
  • Possibility of multiple worldwide missions with possibility of various contractors execution centers or vendors visits.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure that the assigned projects tasks are well managed as per the statement of requirement, client specifications and contractual requirements,
  • Ensure that all the interfaces with the design team, other entities are correctly managed,
  • Ensure that the projects are executed in accordance with the organization's safety regulations, with quality conformance and within schedule and budget,
  • Coordinate the engineering activities of WHP Topsides engineering group in agreement with Engineering Manager and Topsides Package Lead all along the Contract execution phase,
  • Responsible for engineering consistency between Project packages,
  • Ensure efficient communication with all other engineering and functional team members.


Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Engineering degree from a recognized University in the discipline.
  • Graduate engineer with a good level of technical understanding of all relevant technical disciplines, with experience of engineering team supervision/management on onshore/offshore oil & gas project, knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
  • Strong knowledge of SIMOPS,
  • Fluency in English (speaking and writing) with good communication skills, computer literate,
  • Strong leader ship skills and good communication skills,
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
