Job Title - Topside COMPANY SITE Representative (CSR)


The job holder manages, under the responsibility of Topsides Package Lead, all construction activities related to the Topsides Contract, and shall demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to H3SE rules & requirements and for implementing H3SE rules within his area of responsibility.

The job holder is accountable for the following activities during Phase 2 project execution:

* Ensure technical coordination with Package Lead and other discipline leads during construction phase until load-out,

* In charge to provide to the Topsides Package Lead a clear vision of the Project current status and its perspectives,

* Manage all internal and external construction interfaces and associated contracts key dates to meet project milestones,

* Informs and ensures that relevant decisions/directions taken at Management level, has correctly been understood by the team and enforced on the yard,

* Analyzes / resolves issues and problems encountered by his Construction supervision team and make necessary arbitration between different disciplines (the only criteria being the benefit of the overall project),

Manage and control (technical and schedule) construction activities during the Project execution in line with the Company Referential, International standards and good practices.

Job Dimension

The field development will involve several new projects that would be executed in parallel over the period of 5 years with CAPEX investment of around 3.5 Billion USD. The Phase 2 Project consists of:

 Batch 1 EPCI1: Three 24 slots WHP Jackets (FC, DC, EG), bridge linked to existing facilities and with permanent drilling decks. Budget is around 100 MUSD. Water depth are 60 to 70m, Jacket weight is approx. 2000MT.

 Batch1 EPCIC2: Three production topsides and bridges for WHP (FC, DC, EG) to process and send production to existing facilities. Topside weight is approx. 3000 MT, Bridge 100m/800MT.

 Batch2 EPCIC3/4: Two WHP (EH, CE) jacket + topsides to process and send production to existing facilities. Batch2 WHP will be bridge linked. EPCIC3 will be for topsides facilities, EPCIC4 for all T&I works.

 Batch3 EPCIC5/6: Two WHP (GE, GW) jacket + topsides to process and send production to existing facilities. Batch2 WHP will be either bridge linked or remote. EPCIC5 will be for EPCC of facilities, EPCIC6 for all T&I and subsea works where applicable.

Phase 2 Project is mainly a Greenfield Project with installation of 7 new WHP but there will be a major Brownfield challenge for integration of these new WHP into existing facilities in term of interfaces with other NOC entities and SIMOPS works.

The Batch 1 Topsides CSR is responsible for Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities supervision (technical supervision) executed at CONTRACTOR out-country Construction Yard.

He will be based in to EPCIC2 Contractor's premises during EPC phase with travels to Major Project's premises as required.

The Job holder belongs to the Phase 2 Topsides Package PMT team and reports directly to the Topsides Package Lead.


* To define (with Package Lead) and manage an organization to cover all construction and QA/QC activities on contractor construction yard,

* To anticipate the offshore activities and ensure Contractor starts in due time onshore preparation of the critical offshore activities,

* To assist EPC contract management with regards to all technical, commercial and contractual issues arising during Topsides construction execution and liaise with Topsides EPCIC2 Package Lead on regular basis on that matters by insuring that all necessary information is properly recorded, collated and available for further negotiations,

* To manage potential deviations from the Client referential with the Engineering Manager for final decision on whether or not to implement,

* Ensure that all fabrication steps and pre-commissioning activities are properly completed for ready for commissioning;

* To participate to regular yard coordination meetings to report activities of Construction Contractors of all disciplines including Structural, Scaffolding, Painting etc,

* To maintain good relationships with Contractors, being flexible enough but also strict when necessary to achieve the objectives of the Project,

* Provide adequate supports and assistance during commissioning activities,

* Prepare and participate to the close-out report,


* Major Projects involve the development of new offshore platforms bridge linked to the existing facilities, installation of subsea pipelines and debottlenecking of the produced water treatment, all these activities could be executed across several international sites. Projects will require complex interfaces with other entities of Client.

* EPC execution shall take place at Contractor onshore premises,

* Possibility of multiple worldwide missions and relocation to follow-up offshore installation campaign.

Qualifications & Experience

* Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with strong experience in construction yard for the oil industry of which should include time spent in a lead construction position.

* Experience within a project team, including experience within large multinational taskforce team environment,

* Available for technical missions worldwide,

* Familiar with Prodom, and relevant codes and standards,

* Language: Fluent English,

* Computer literate,

* Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,

* H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
