  • Support the Lead Surveyor and undertakes surveying duties as assigned by him / her to prioritise services demand on the project
  • Responsible for surveying and setting out complex systems, including Civil, Mechanical and Piping Equipment
  • Responsible for undertaking as-built positional checks for the works
  • Provide technical support to the project as subject matter expert
  • Coach, mentor and develop less experienced surveyors / engineers to teach practicable survey / best practice techniques for setting out
  • Ensure project quality assurance processes are fully complied with
  • Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm.

The role requires an individual experienced to survey and set-out complex large projects:

* Full knowledge/understanding of Structural monitoring is required

* Experience/working knowledge of modern monitoring systems including geodetic & geotechnical is advantageous

* Good interpersonal and communication skills are required, coupled with an ability to form effective relationships with partners under time pressure

* Demonstrates an understanding for project schedules, inter dependent activities, that facilities survey prioritisations

* Demonstrates a passion and excitement for his / her work. Tackles problems head-on and works to resolve them without delay;

* Membership of the Chartered Institute of Engineering Surveyors is desirable;

* A valid CSCS card is a requirement for this role.

* Good knowledge of AutoCAD, LSS, Leica Survey Equipment

* Good knowledge of BIM is desirable.
