Activities

This position is starting from the FID phase sanction for the EPC OFFSHORE phase activities until the completion of the Development phase.
The job holder shall be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all activities related to QA QC activities for the Offshore scope for Absheron FFD.
The job holder will perform this work in accordance with Project procedures, TotalEnergies General Specifications, Project rules, guidelines and procedures.

The job holder is responsible, within the ABSHERON FFD OFFSHORE Team and under the OFFSHORE Technical Manager for following-up, monitoring and supervising QA & QC (the discipline) activities carried out by EPC OFFSHORE Contractor and Subcontractors’ at the Construction site during the Construction, Installation, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning phases, ensuring that his discipline’s contractual and technical requirements are duly applied by OFFSHORE EPC Contractor and/or Subcontractors.

o In this respect, and to ascertain that the facilities are built as per the project requirements, the job holder verify Contractor’s and/or Subcontractors’ QAQC procedures, Contractor Quality Plan /Inspection and Plan and ensure that Contractor and/or Subcontractors have adequate equipment, resources, means and manpower to perform the job with the required quality level and to compete it in due time.
o He reports on a day-to-day basis directly to the OFFSHORE COMPANY Technical Manager. The job holder is also in continuous liaison with and reports to the COMPANY QA/QC Manager, enforcing decisions/directions taken at ABSHERON FFD Management level.
o Coordination and performance of Quality Management System Audit or Process Audit of Contractor and Key Suppliers. Issuance/review of audit reports and follow-up of Corrective Action Plans.
o Control of SURF contractor's PO's alignment with QA/QC contractual requirements
o Review and assessment of SURF contractor non-conformance reports (NCRs) and dispositions.
o Control of proper root cause analysis of Contractor Quality failures and corrective actions.
o Follow-up and tracking of Correctives Action Requests (CARs) and NCRs.
o Interfaces with Certifying Authority for Contractor/Supplier assessment of conformity.
o Progressive review and compilation of As-Built and Final documentation
o Participation to regular Quality reviews and meetings with Contractor. Review of quality KPI'S, improvement efforts, quality issues/failures, NCR trends, etc ...
o The job holder may have to lead several Offshore and Yard Supervisors (Material, NDT, welding and coating supervisors) and, as such, is acting as a Team leader, informing and motivating them adequately and giving them clear priorities/directions for the performance of their duties. He also provides them with support and assistance in their organization, job scheduling and coordination with other disciplines to ensure quality and timely completion of their work and implementation of Corporate / Project QA/QC Management System.
o The job holder organizes and participates to routine and random inspections and audits, assists to daily / regular Construction meetings related to his discipline with EPC Contractor and/or Subcontractors, performs QA/QC and/or HSE visits and tours... and ensures an adequate reporting to the Company Construction Manager (areas of concerns, problems encountered in its discipline during construction and implementation both by COMPANY Construction Team and EPC Contractor and/or Subcontractors).
As a general manner, the job holder provides assistance to the Construction/Installation Team with all matters related to his discipline.

• Use tools, equipment and their safeguards correctly
• Use the provided means of personal protection correctly
• Leave the workplace behind correct and orderly, upon job completion – enforce the Company Clean Desk policy
• Report any anomaly, abnormal conditions and near miss to supervisor
• Participate actively in HSE meetings, safety talks, toolboxes, training sessions and drills
• Co-operate actively in the execution of the HSE plans

Authority to suspend activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment, and notify forthwith the responsible supervisor.

Qualifications/Experience required

• Advanced expertise in Oil & Gas Industry with large scale projects & complex environment
• Experience of 15 years+ in Oil & Gas Projects
• Expertise in Quality Assurance
• Expertise in Quality Control
• Expertise in NDT and metallurgy
• Part of the service will require worldwide mobility

Language Requirements:

• Fluent English is mandatory.
