Our client is seeking a Subsea Work Coordinator, to work on a major UK CCS project.

The role will be based in London, (Hybrid work schedule). Long term renewable contract. 

Candidates MUST have the right to work in the UK. 


You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating a wide range of subsea and offshore construction activities. This includes overseeing cable‑laying operations, trenching works, diving activities, load‑out operations, and the pre‑commissioning and drying of subsea pipelines. You will ensure readiness for operation, support platform installation activities, and manage interfaces with the hook‑up team. The role also requires the flexibility to travel offshore and participate in activities on marine vessels occasionally.




Main responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure safe, high‑performance, and cost‑effective operations.
  • Monitor installation engineering readiness.
  • Monitor offshore schedules.
  • Monitor the delivery of project materials.
  • Coordinate SIMOPS when required.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for offshore supervisors during offshore operations.
  • Maintain communication with project vessels and offshore platforms/jack‑ups, etc.
  • Maintain records of vessel activity, daily activity reports, incidents, and near misses.
  • Ensure adherence to the company’s health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and standards.


Skills and experience required:

 

  • University degree in an appropriate engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Qualifications in Project / Construction Management.
  • Extensive industry experience in marine operations, offshore installation, and diving works.
  • Good understanding and experience of managing jack-up site assessment requirements and associated processes.
  • Good understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with the transition from the oil and gas industry to a low‑carbon future.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English is mandatory; any other language is an advantage).
  • Good computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with all stakeholders while maintaining good interpersonal relationships; proper understanding of the ethics and protocol required across different functions.
