Job Title – StorespersonLocation - KintoreRole specific responsibilities• Manage day-to-day issue of all spares and consumables within the workshop.• Maintain effective stock control via inventory management system (SAP) for all workshop equipment, spare parts and consumables. (inclusive of welding gas and wire)• Ensure all spare parts and consumables are stored as per relevant storage procedures.• Receives, inspects, and documents the return of consigned warehouses.• Assist with the management of all the incoming and outgoing of goods.• Assist with the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing goods by use of FLT.• Prepare and pack all equipment, spares and consumables to be shipped to project sites.• Manage the issue of all new rigging equipment. (inspect / condemn all faulty rigging).• Carry out PAT testing of all electrical equipment issued by the store.• May be required to operate delivery truck or similar vehicle.• To stop the job and report any hazards or incidents in the workplace.• Always ensure good housekeeping practices.• Perform any other duties within the range of skills of the post holder, as required.Health, Safety & Environment• You have a duty to take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.• You will carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and comply with all Health, Safety & Environmental rules, policy, procedures, regulations and codes of practice.• You must also co-operate with management and co-workers to help everyone meet their legal obligations.• Ensure that you follow any instructions or health, safety & environmental training the Company provides and report any hazards, injuries or ill health that present a serious and imminent risk.• Ensure that you follow any instructions or health, safety & environmental training provided by the company and report any hazards, injuries or ill health that present a serious and imminent risk and inform your line manager about any shortcomings you identify within your health and safety arrangements. Job Specific Education Required:• Full UK driving license• Basic experience in inventory management systems such as SAP.Work Experience Required:• Basic experience within an industrial environment• Basic experience in FLT.• Basic experience in material handling equipment.Skills & Knowledge Required:• Basic practical and theoretical knowledge of transportation techniques and requirements.• Basic knowledge of stock keeping and stock rotation.• Basic knowledge of repair and maintenance activities.• Basic knowledge of using material handling equipment.• A sound academic background.• Basic practical knowledge of QHSE systems (Relating to the individual’s discipline)
