Job Title: Storeman (Site)
Reports to: Production Manager (Site) & GWPDC Head of Operations
Location: Onshore Operations
OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Record all equipment, materials, consumable etc delivered to site
Weekly stock-takes and maintenance of minimum stock levels
All personnel are expected to contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
• Previous storeman experience necessary
• Experience of using IT based stock control systems beneficial (SAP preferable).
• FLT 2 Ton Certificate would be preferred
DUTIES
• Manage stocks of equipment, materials, consumables etc
• acknowledge receipt of and record stock and delivery tickets
• confirm receipt of materials with Senior Pipeline Inspector
• confirm receipt of equipment with Lead Equipment Technician
• confirm receipt of welding consumables with Production Supervisor
• distribute delivery/despatch tickets to relevant personnel
• provide required equipment, materials and consumables to workforce
• Assist in raising of requisitions
• maintain stock in good order
• maintain and highlight minimum stock levels
• Check use by dates and highlight issues (e.g. grinding consumables)
• Maintain stock records on database – receipt and usage and prepare stock usage reports on weekly basis.
• Monitor stock usage on projects:
• determine project by project usage of items of equipment, materials, PPE and consumables
• highlight minimum stock levels required by projects
• highlight availability of existing stock for new projects.
