Sr. Procurement Excellence Officer

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Excellence Officer to join a leading organization in Qatar. This role is ideal for procurement professionals with strong analytical capabilities who are passionate about driving procurement excellence, digital transformation, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse, and interpret procurement data and KPIs, including spend, savings, compliance, and procurement performance.
• Develop dashboards and management reports covering procurement efficiency, supplier performance, and contract utilization.
• Monitor procurement excellence initiatives and support continuous improvement across strategic sourcing and procurement activities.
• Identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize procurement performance.
• Support governance, compliance, and procurement best practices through accurate reporting and analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of procurement, procurement analytics, or performance management experience.
• Previous experience within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of procurement and contract management processes, sourcing strategies, tendering, and contract lifecycle management.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications for procurement and digital transformation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong English communication skills.
