Summary
We are seeking an experienced SPS Delivery Lead – Drilling Services to join a major ultra-deepwater greenfield development in Malaysia.
The role will take responsibility for the full lifecycle delivery of subsea wellhead systems, tubing hangers, Xmas Trees (XT) and associated hardware/tooling, from procurement and manufacturing through testing, logistics and offshore installation support.
You will act as a key interface between the SPS Contractor, Drilling, SURF, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Installation teams, ensuring safe, compliant and on-schedule delivery.

Summary
We are seeking an experienced SPS Delivery Lead – Drilling Services to join a major ultra-deepwater greenfield development in Malaysia.

You will act as a key interface between the SPS Contractor, Drilling, SURF, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Installation teams, ensuring safe, compliant and on-schedule delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution and delivery of wellhead, tubing hanger and Xmas Tree systems.
- Act as the primary interface with the SPS Contractor for hardware package delivery.
- Monitor manufacturing progress, quality, schedule and contractual milestones.
- Coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, QA/QC, Logistics and Installation interfaces.
- Manage delivery schedules, progress reporting, risks and mitigation actions.
- Lead readiness activities including FAT, SIT, EFAT, loadout and offshore readiness reviews.
- Ensure all H3SE requirements and project standards are implemented throughout delivery.
- Support logistics, packaging, preservation, transportation and storage activities.
- Ensure effective handover to installation and operations teams.
- Monitor Contractor and supplier performance and support change management.
- Provide progress updates and technical support to project leadership.
- Support offshore installation and connection activities.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Subsea Engineering or a related discipline.
- 15+ years’ experience in large offshore Oil & Gas subsea projects.
- Recent experience with a major SPS Contractor covering detailed design, fabrication, delivery and offshore execution.
- Strong experience with subsea hardware, particularly:
- Wellhead systems
- Tubing hangers
- Xmas Trees
- Associated tooling
- Strong subsea drilling knowledge and experience.
- Experience in deepwater/ultra-deepwater projects.
- Strong understanding of H3SE, QA/QC, manufacturing and delivery processes.
- Excellent communication and written English.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines, contractors and cultures.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
