Orion Group Sciences are looking for a Sourcing Administrator for our multinational medical devices client based in the Limerick area on an initial 4-month contract with the potential to extend.

Job Purpose

Preparation of documentation for large bidding packages. Responsibilities will include preparation, issuance and follow-up of Confidential Agreements across multiple product segments, preparation and management of RFI (Request for Information) process and support during RFQ execution phase including file management and supplier communication.

Main Responsibilities of the role

  • Responsible for supporting strategic sourcing team on tasks such as RFQ (Request for Quotation) preparation and related activities
  • Supplier engagement and communication
  • Data collation and reporting
  • Prepare documentation for issuance to suppliers such as drawings, confidential agreements, capability questionnaires
  • Meet deadlines for key source deliverables during RFQ preparation and execution
  • Collate supplier responses and data for analysis
  • Liaise with Quality and Technical Operations teams during supplier analysis phase
  • Prepare templates for efficient data gathering, analysis and reporting

Desired Experience and Background of the successful candidate

  • 1 year's relevant experience in similar administration role
  • Strong Microsoft skills particularly Excel
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and part of a team with a willingness to learn
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal & Communication Skills & ability to meet deadlines
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is a must
