Job Title: Site Services Lead
Location: Afungi, Northern Mozambique
Duration: 12-Months+
Rotation: 28/28

We are currently recruiting a Site Services Lead for a major onshore LNG development project in Northern Mozambique. This key role will focus on the oversight of logistics operations, transportation, camp services, and associated site facilities in a highly dynamic and complex project environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of up to 20 personnel responsible for logistics execution, ground transport, and site services.
  • Ensure the delivery of services in full compliance with project HSE standards and performance objectives.
  • Work closely with EPC contractors and subcontractors to monitor and report on logistics implementation and site support activities.
  • Oversee and approve operational procedures related to camp management, transportation (land and air), and logistics workflows.
  • Evaluate non-conformities and engage in resolution planning with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project control teams to deliver accurate reporting and contribute to cost and schedule management.
  • Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and site support operations.
  • Participate in the annual budget preparation for site services when required.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional background.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in logistics operations and camp management in oil and gas or large industrial projects.
  • Experience working in remote site environments with a multinational workforce is essential.
  • Proven ability to manage safety, cost, schedule, and quality across diverse service domains.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; Portuguese or French is a plus.
Work Environment:
  • Position based at a remote site in Northern Mozambique with limited infrastructure and security challenges.
  • Rotational basis: 28 days on / 28 days off.
  • Comprehensive security and health protocols are in place, including malaria prevention and pandemic-related measures.
