Site Service Resident Engineer
BS degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
A minimum of eight (8) years experience working on Gas Turbines, Compressors, particularly on
instruments and control systems (e.g. ABB Advant 400, CCC Series 5).
Broad experience with gas turbine control systems. Fully conversant with programming
language and controls configuration software tools used in these systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to manage a diverse team.
Provide on-site control support in the execution of the work.
Take primary responsibility for the management of all controls related covered equipment,
including the interface between the control system software and hardware environment.
Act as technical advisor on all instrumentation and control aspects of covered units.
Make a detailed work scope for each agreed outage.
Identify any logic modification changes subject to company plant management procedures.
Prepare initial parts simulation Plan and update the plan based on running hours at the end
of each planned maintenance and inspection.
Implement OEM bulletins to the company plan.
Respond to technical queries regarding operations and maintenace.
Liaise with Integrated Control & Safeguarding System ICSS support services engineer for issues
related with interfaces between package control systems.
Maintain a documented history of all control system changes including set point changes or
modifications for the coverted units.
Perform diagnosis and resolve maintenance or operational problems.
Provide on the job training of operation & maintenance staff.
Perform the on-site inspection of all parts for correct execution against drawings & damage.
