We have a current opportunity for a Site Quality Lead on a contract basis. The position will be based in Sohar. For further information about this position please apply.
Accountabilities
The service holder is responsible, for coordinating all the QA and QC activities during the Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction, Commissioning and Installation phases carried out by Contractor, Subcontractors and to ensure that:
Shall liaise actively with the Project Quality Manager and Package Managers.
Reports to the Project Quality Manager, highlighting concerns encountered during the performance of his duties.
The service holder is also accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour regarding HSSE rules & requirements and for implementing HSSE rules within his area of responsibility.
Qualification:
Education to HNC level or above in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Professional Experience (number of years):
Minimum 15 years’ experience in a QA/QC role in the Oil and Gas Industry or fabrication yards, of which 7 years shall
have covered all aspects of LNG engineering and construction disciplines.
Vocational qualifications:
IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
A recognized Quality Assurance or Quality Management qualification.
Certification welding inspector / NDT would be an added advantage

- The EPSCCI Contractor Quality Management System is fully developed, established & maintained in compliance with the EPSCCI Contract, and is in line with Contract Exhibit.
- The EPSCC Contractor is enforcing his contractual commitments; is implementing properly his Contract Quality Plan and Objectives, is safely, properly, and timely performing his activities as per Company specifications, design, and codes.
- Project QMS is duly implemented by Company team members.
