SHES Lead (COMP4 LQ)

We are currently seeking an experienced SHES Lead to support a major oil & gas project involving fabrication yard and offshore installation activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing project HSES management systems, ensuring contractor compliance, driving proactive safety culture initiatives, and supporting safe execution across fabrication and offshore scopes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of project SHES management plans
• Monitor contractor HSES performance during fabrication and offshore installation
• Conduct HSE audits, inspections, observations, and incident investigations
• Manage occupational health, security, emergency response, and training programs
• Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and safety leadership
• Coordinate with project management teams, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Sciences, or related field
  OR
• NEBOSH International/National Diploma / NVQ Level 5 / British Safety Council Level 6 Diploma
• Minimum 8 years of SHES experience within the Oil & Gas industry
• Previous supervisory or contractor oversight experience
• Strong knowledge of HSES management systems and project safety execution
• Experience working with EPC contractors and large-scale operating organizations
