About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Internal Sales professional to join a growing team based in Antwerp.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong customer relationship management skills with natural leadership ability. As a senior member of the Internal Sales team, you will manage your own portfolio of customers while helping to coordinate team activities, support colleagues and drive continuous improvement across the department.
You will be someone who takes ownership, enjoys working collaboratively and is confident challenging ideas constructively to achieve the best outcomes. Successful sales is about building long-term customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and delivering value—and that's exactly what this role offers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop your own customer portfolio.
  • Identify, develop and follow up new sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
  • Provide commercial support and technical guidance to customers.
  • Coordinate activities within the Internal Sales team and support colleagues where required.
  • Act as a senior point of contact within the department, helping to improve processes and performance.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Visit customers when required to strengthen business relationships.
  • Use CRM and SAP systems to manage customer activity and sales opportunities.
Candidate Profile
We're looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong commercial mindset and proven leadership qualities.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commercial Economics, Engineering, Sales or a related discipline.
  • Minimum five years' experience within Internal Sales, After Sales, Customer Service, Spare Parts Sales, Service Sales or another technical commercial environment.
  • Previous experience coaching, mentoring or coordinating colleagues.
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Proactive, organised and results-driven.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High levels of ownership, accountability and initiative.
  • Willingness to visit customers when required.
  • Experience using SAP, CRM systems and/or Power BI would be advantageous.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English (written and spoken). French language skills would be beneficial.
  • Full EU work authorisation (no sponsorship available).
  • Full Category B driving licence.
  • Living within commuting distance of Antwerp.
  • Available to work from the Antwerp office five days per week.
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • Standard office hours: 08:00 – 17:00
  • This role does not offer paid overtime.
Salary & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package including:
  • Starting gross monthly salary of approximately €4,400, with excellent progression opportunities.
  • Annual remuneration equivalent to 13.92 months' salary (including 13th-month payment and holiday allowance).
