Aesthetics Finance (Master Data Analyst III) 

Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid: onsite Tuesday–Thursday / remote Monday & Friday)
Contract Length: 12 Months (with potential extension based on performance and business needs)
$60-65/hr based on benefit selection 

Role Overview
Orion Group is seeking an experienced reporting and visualization contractor to enhance reporting capabilities across our pharmaceutical client's aesthetic division. This individual will help improve how insights are delivered by building scalable reporting solutions, standardizing dashboard frameworks, and creating high-quality visualizations that support faster, more informed business decision-making.
This role requires deep expertise in Power BI, strong business partnership skills, and the ability to independently translate stakeholder needs into intuitive, actionable reporting solutions. Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with finance and cross-functional business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document reporting requirements
• Translate business needs into scalable dashboarding and reporting solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that drive business insights
• Build intuitive visualizations that improve data accessibility and decision-making
• Standardize reporting structures, logic, and dashboard design across similar use cases
• Collaborate across teams to define reporting metrics, KPIs, and visualization standards
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate recurring reporting processes
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and deliver ongoing enhancements as business needs evolve
• Operate independently with strong ownership, accountability, and sound judgment
• Support broader reporting initiatives leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) where applicable

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level experience developing enterprise dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Strong experience gathering business requirements and converting them into technical deliverables
• Proven ability to standardize reporting across multiple teams and business use cases
• Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders and senior leaders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting finance, FP&A, or commercial analytics reporting environments
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Background in dashboard governance, reporting standardization, or enterprise reporting frameworks
• Experience working in matrixed corporate environments
