We are seeking applications for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with commercial/industrial building package management experience to add to their growing commercial team, who will be instrumental in managing project costs, forecasting, change control, subcontractor management and ensuring value-for-money outcomes while maintaining the highest levels of governance, quality and safety.
Additionally, you will lead and mentor junior commercial staff, collaborate closely with project teams, and play a critical role in making sure our delivery aligns with technical, financial and contractual expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Leadership & Governance
- Manage all project costs and income within your area of responsibility.
- Apply excellent understanding of contract and governance frameworks while maximising digital/LEAN opportunities.
- Prepare Activity Schedules, Resource Schedules and analyse tender documentation.
- Evaluate, negotiate and agree subcontract works, variations, and compensation events.
- Prepare commercial progress reports, risk reviews and reconciliation documents for senior stakeholders.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to programme and scope.
- Interpret and manage customer contracts, delivering clear and professional communication.
- Support claims preparation, submission, and negotiation where required.
- Contribute to procurement strategy and develop procurement programmes.
- Support constructability reviews and resource planning using project schedules.
- Lead, support and mentor colleagues including Apprentices, Trainees, Graduates and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.

Who we're looking for
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
- Chartered or working towards MRCIS / MCInstCES / MCIOB.
- Strong commercial management experience within major infrastructure or construction projects.
- Ability to interpret complex contract and project information.
- CSCS (Professionally Qualified Person) card.
