Senior Projects HSE Risks & SIMOPS Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Projects HSE Risks & SIMOPS Engineer to support major offshore brownfield projects in Qatar.
This position plays a key role in leading HSE risk management, SIMOPS coordination, and ensuring safe project execution throughout engineering, installation, and offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HSE and project risk management activities throughout project execution.
• Prepare, coordinate, and implement SIMOPS dossiers.
• Support project teams in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
• Review contractor HSE documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Maintain project risk registers and monitor mitigation actions.
• Coordinate with operations, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure safe offshore execution.
• Promote a strong HSE culture across project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of HSEQ and Risk Management experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong experience with:
  • SIMOPS Planning & Coordination
  • HSE Management Systems
  • Project Risk Management
  • Offshore Brownfield Projects
  • HSE Audits & Inspections
  • Construction & Installation Activities
• Knowledge of international HSEQ standards and best practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.
