Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Project Engineer Decommissioning, based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities

Specific Requirements
* Technical/Engineering degree or a number of years of experience in a technical field.
* Commitment to continuous professional development
* Experience of managing budgets, teams and working collaboratively with external parties.
* Knowledge of the offshore working environment and/or site based working.
* Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement.
* Ability to drive innovation in technical solutions.
* Competency in contract management.
* Competency in risk assessment and mitigation at project level.
* Ability to keep the larger project picture in mind, including recognising where interfaces may be needed.
* Be able to prioritise multiple work fronts, both for themselves but also provide guidance to less experienced team members.
* Ability to enquire and challenge the relevance of accepted operational standards for the
* Decommissioning phase.
* Ability to create an empowered project team, setting clear expectations and ensuring the team take accountability for delivery.
* Project Management qualification or working towards accreditation with a recognised body i.e. APM or PMI.
