Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Production Engineer based in Aberdeen

Responsibilities include:
Short term production surveillance and optimisation and engineering support of assigned wells
Well performance diagnostics & performance analysis including well inflow / outflow assurance (e.g., nodal and back pressure analysis)
Identification and planning of well intervention, stimulation and maintenance activities
Loss production tracking and participation in defect elimination process
Provide an operations assurance capacity to ensure new wells are designed accounting for full life cycle operations
Support start-up of new wells
Surveillance of well barriers to ensure compliance with well mechanical and operating integrity guidelines and limits and drive actions to reduce the risk profile of the asset
Coordinate well reviews
Participate in partner forums
Operating cost and profitability tracking

Requirements:
BSc in Engineering or equivalent
MSc in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent
Broad understanding of production/ petroleum engineering including artificial lift, well intervention well integrity, completions and remedial workovers
Excellent technical and organisational skills
Exposure to offshore operations
Extensive previous experience working in production/petroleum engineering.
Understanding of process facilities and gas gathering systems
Exposure to Reservoir Engineering
