Senior Process Engineer

Our client is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to work on a major LNG project in Mozambique. It will be based in Maputo, on a residential basis.

You will provide technical support and assist the Lead Process Engineer in achieving high engineering standards, improving plant thermal efficiency and daily plant operations. You will conduct daily heat and material balance calculations for the train, perform unit simulations to verify optimal operating conditions, monitor key process parameters and investigate root causes and responses to plant operational problems.

Skills and experience required:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Certification as an Associate Engineer or Fundamental Engineer.
• Extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong background in project and interface management.
• Relevant experience in APCI LNG operations.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary activities and deliver technical and progress reports.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a multinational environment and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
