Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Personnel Coordinator to join their team on a temp-perm basis in Aberdeenshire. The successful applicant will play a key role in the successful mobilisation and deployment of personnel to projects around the world. This is a varied and rewarding role coordinating international travel, personnel logistics, project support and workforce planning for major energy and infrastructure projects.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the mobilisation and demobilisation of personnel to projects worldwide
  • Arrange and manage international travel, accommodation, visas and work permits
  • Work closely with project teams to support personnel scheduling and workforce planning
  • Track personnel movements, availability and project assignments
  • Support payroll, timesheet, expenses and cost-tracking activities
  • Maintain accurate personnel records, certifications and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate PPE requirements and equipment for field personnel
  • Provide support with recruitment and onboarding activities when required
  • Attend project and operational meetings, contributing to effective planning and continuous improvement
  • Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota to support operational requirements
 
Key Desirables:
  • Experience in personnel logistics, workforce coordination, travel management or a similar operational support role
  • Experience within the energy, engineering, construction, offshore or wider project-based sectors is advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working with internal teams, personnel and external suppliers
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage changing priorities
  • A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong administration, IT and systems skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider business
 
Key Skills:
  • HNC or equivalent qualification desirable
  • Strong administration and coordination experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A professional approach and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
  • Flexibility and willingness to support operational requirements
