Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manufacturing Bioprocess Associate to join a state-of-the-art single-use biotechnology facility supporting the manufacture of Late-Stage and Launch Pipeline Biologics.
This cutting-edge site integrates leading technology with a dynamic, activity-based workspace to enable collaboration, innovation, and agility. The facility provides Biologics Drug Substance manufacturing for clinical supply, registration, and commercial launch. Designed to operate in a multi-product mode, it offers flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of a diverse biologic’s portfolio.
The Senior Manufacturing Bioprocess Associate will support end-to-end production operations across both Fed-Batch and Continuous Manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment in accordance with electronic batch records, sampling plans, and standard operating procedures.
- Work collaboratively within a dedicated process team where flexibility and teamwork are essential.
- Apply problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous learning, improvement, and development.
- Support weekend or out-of-hours work as required to meet manufacturing schedules.
- Conduct all activities in strict adherence to site safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Support the authoring and revision of electronic batch records, sampling plans, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Contribute to the commissioning and qualification of manufacturing systems and equipment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Level 7 qualification in a Science or Engineering discipline preferred.
- A Level 6 qualification with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a GMP manufacturing environment will also be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and apply practical problem-solving skills.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Familiarity with contamination control and batch release requirements.
- Experience with Emerson DeltaV, PAS-X, and automated manufacturing systems.
- Proficiency in Single-Use Technologies within a GMP environment.
- Understanding of Upstream and Downstream Unit Operations for monoclonal antibody (mAb) manufacturing.
- Experience with both continuous and fed-batch manufacturing processes.
