Senior Instrument Engineer

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Instrumentation Engineer to support EPC and startup phases of major onshore oil & gas projects.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring instrumentation and Fire & Gas (F&G) systems are designed, commissioned, and handed over with the highest standards of safety, reliability, and operability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise in Instrumentation & F&G systems across design, commissioning, and startup
• Participate in HAZOP, SIL workshops, and system verification
• Support troubleshooting, failure analysis, and system optimization
• Ensure compliance with company standards and lifecycle reliability goals
• Oversee contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants
• Lead integrity and surveillance programs for critical systems
• Support high-risk commissioning activities and system tuning
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 6+ years in Oil & Gas environment
• Strong knowledge of:
  • DCS, PLC, ESD, F&G Systems
  • Anti-Surge & Compressor Control Systems
  • Metering Systems
  • SIL requirements
• Experience in EPC and startup phases preferred
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Fluent in English
