My client, the largest oil & gas operator in Denmark are urgently seeking a Senior HSE Adviser to be based in Esbjerg on a contract basis.

Job Dimension

* Lead positive Incident Free outcomes for Project Managers, Delivery Teams and Contract Owners supporting delivery of HSSE Plans across the full project lifecycle.

* Apply Professional HSE expertise and experience enabling HSE risks to be reduced to ALARP for Offshore Denmark Brownfield Execution, SIMOPS, Hook Down and Hook up and Commissioning within the project.

* Role model the attitude and behaviour that support a 'Generative' HSE Culture.

* Be a passionate, energised, positive, supportive change agent for the new concepts, technologies and ways of working expected for their Redevelopment project and future operations.

* Lead others to grow in their confidence and competence to achieve Incident Free work.

Qualifications/Experience required

* EXTENSIVE up-stream operations experience and executing HSE management offshore and with Contractors (across Mode 1 & 2 environments).

* Previous experience in leading teams and developing and sustaining high performance and a mature HSE Culture.

* Hands on working knowledge and experience of HSE Risk Management systems, processes and tools (including PTW, Bow-Tie, Task risk assessment and HAZID/HAZOP), and operational understanding of Process Safety Management and Case for Safety requirements.

* Experience in Offshore Marine, Pipeline, Diving, ROV, Helicopter and Lifting & Hoisting, Dropped Object Management Programmes, Well Engineering and their HSE aspects.

* Hands on experience with Safety Critical Equipment Management planning, controls, Operations SIMOPS and MOPO, Emergency Response Bridging and HSE Case implementation.

* Hands on experience in Brownfield Construction, Decommissioning, Disposal SIMOPS and Hook up and Commissioning Activities HSE.

* Hands on experience in Integrated Planning process and work-pack development.

* Hands on experience with implementation of Technical Integrity Verification/TIV planning and implementation, and Process Safety management for flawless start-ups.

* Competent to Lead and coordinate root cause HSE Investigations and Audits.

* Competent in coaching, training and inducting Personnel, to sustain a successful Incident Free programme.

* Excellent/ effective communication skills (oral and written) and planning ability.

* Competent in use of common IT systems and tools (Power-point, word etc.).

* Strong interpersonal skills with capability to train, coach, mentor, support and successfully influence at various levels (and including contractors).

* Capability to coordinate quality HSE related information, statistics recording and reporting from Contractor to Project.
