$37–$41/hr (based on benefits)

Are you a manufacturing or cost accounting expert who loves turning numbers into insights that drive better business decisions? Join our North Chicago finance team and play a key role in analyzing plant performance, improving cost control, and supporting operational excellence.

This position is perfect for someone ready to showcase their accounting expertise in a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead month-end close for manufacturing operations — from inventory reconciliation to variance analysis.
  • Analyze actual vs. plan and provide actionable insights to plant leadership.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and LBE/Flash reporting cycles.
  • Partner with Operations to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare standard costs, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis that helps drive key business decisions.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4+ years in manufacturing accounting (costing, variances, absorption).
  • Strong Excel and SAP skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Clear communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
